Located in Nanaimo, BC, we are proud of our well-equipped fabrication shop and a dynamic team that includes two full-time fabricators as well as assistance from our HVAC team. We are now looking for self-driven professionals to expand our residential division.

Role Summary:

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator and Installer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, quoting, and fabricating HVAC systems primarily for residential retrofit and replacement (re/re) work, with the occasional involvement in commercial projects. This position requires a proactive approach, working closely with other HVAC team members, including System Designers, HVAC Journeymen, CSRs and Dispatch. You will require the ability to manage projects independently and lead initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and fabricate HVAC systems for residential applications.
  • Conduct site visits to quote and plan retrofit and replacement projects.
  • Work collaboratively with a team on larger commercial projects as needed.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Level 2+ sheet metal apprentice or journeyman certification.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take charge of projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Expected hours: 40 per week

Compensation:
